If you can see light or open gaps underneath the cap of your seawall, the wall has separated from something it should be sitting flush against.
The cap is designed to sit tight against the wall panels and any backing structure. A visible gap means that connection has opened up — usually from movement, settling, or soil loss underneath.
An open gap gives water an easy new path in and out, which accelerates the soil loss and pressure problems that caused the gap in the first place — a cycle that gets worse the longer it's left alone.
We inspect what's causing the separation first. Depending on the cause, the fix ranges from foam stabilization beneath the cap to full cap removal and replacement with proper sealing.
